Hi, I'm Iohann, a Security Engineer who works with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 security. I'm at baseVISION AG in Switzerland, helping companies keep their data under control without overcomplicating things.

I'm also a Microsoft Certified Trainer, which basically means I like explaining tech stuff in a way people can actually understand. I don't know everything (seriously, nobody does, especially with Microsoft changing things every week), but I enjoy figuring things out and sharing what works.

On PurviewInsights.com, I write about what I run into in real projects. DLP, Insider Risk, sensitivity labels, compliance, and the ocasional "why did this stop working?" troubleshooting sessions. I keep things practical. If something breaks, I'll tell you about it.

Outside work, I'm usually testing new features, keeping up with whatever Microsoft just announced, or figuring out how AI is changing the security game.
